Williamson's autobiography charts a remarkable journey from the streets of Easterhouse to Scottish Cup glory with Kilmarnock in 1997. The book also reflects on his experiences at Rangers, Hibernian and in international football, including his time managing Uganda, while candidly discussing the cancer diagnosis that changed his outlook on life. 

Travelling from Kenya for the occasion, Williamson will share some of the stories behind the book during an on-stage discussion with award-winning journalist and sports writer John Greechan. The evening will also include a question-and-answer session and a book signing. 

A hugely familiar name to Scottish football fans, Williamson enjoyed success both as a player and manager before embarking on an extensive coaching career overseas. His achievements with Kilmarnock remain among the most memorable in the club's modern history, while his work in Africa earned widespread recognition.
